BROWN DEER, Wis. (WDJT) - A woman is now being charged in connection to the shooting death of a Wisconsin dentist. When police arrived to a Brown Deer apartment complex on Saturday night, officers found a 27-year-old woman running around and asking for help. When officers entered Keionna McGowan’s apartment near Park Plaza Court and Brown Deer Road, they saw 41-year-old Akintunde Bowden with a gunshot wound to his lower abdomen.

On Saturday night, Brown Deer police responded to a call at an apartment complex near Park Plaza Court and Brown Deer Road. When they arrived on the scene, officers say McGowan was running around asking for help.

Back in 2021, Darrell Brooks drove an SUV through the Waukesha Christmas parade, killing six people. In October of 2022, Brooks represented himself in the three-week trial where he was found guilty on multiple counts. Brooks, now 43, is serving six life sentences.
