WAUKESHA, Wisconsin (WDJT) -- The man convicted of killing six people and injuring dozens more in the 2021 Waukesha Christmas parade attack will represent himself going forward in his appeals process. Back in 2021, Darrell Brooks drove an SUV through the Waukesha Christmas parade, killing six people. In October of 2022, Brooks represented himself in the three-week trial where he was found guilty on multiple counts. Brooks, now 43, is serving six life sentences.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (WDJT) - A 17-year-old is facing murder charges in Wisconsin for allegedly killing his mother and stepfather. Authorities say the teenager continued to live in the same home with their bodies for two weeks. Nikita Casap arrived to court Thursday afternoon after Waukesha County prosecutors filed two counts of first-degree intentional homicide against the 17-year-old for the deaths of his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer.

It happened in early November. A teen, who was 13 years old at the time of the incident, tried to enter Roosevelt Elementary School through multiple entrances and locked doors.
