Police have revealed more details about the last known movements of the man stabbed outside the Blockhouse Bay Tennis Club. Friends and colleagues have paid tribute to the “gentle” scientist, Stephen Thorpe. The killer is still on the run. Police have revealed a “violent struggle” took place between a scientist and his attacker in a tennis club car park stabbing. They said this morning they are hunting Stephen Thorpe’s attacker who could have been stained with blood after the struggle.

Former Shortland Street actor Will Alexander has ended his hunger strike over the war in Gaza after going without food for 19 days.
