GAYLORD ― Baseball is a game known for its complexities and the many intricate ways it can be played that makes each individual game different. However, the game can also be very simple if their pitchers can execute and keep the other team from scoring. Lately, that has been the formula for the Gaylord baseball team and its helped them find a groove over the past week, improving to 5-1 over the past six games after sweeping the Soo Black Sox on Thursday, May 8.

The latest Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association (MHSSCA) poll was released on Tuesday, May 6, with not much movement across the rankings lists.
