Happy Sunday, Central Coast!Stronger onshore flow allowed temperatures to continue to trend downwards on Sunday. It will be cooler Sunday and Monday, with a warming trend expected to start on Tuesday. An early return of low clouds and fog should be expected at the beaches and coastal valleys. Another upper-level trough of low pressure in northern California will dig south along the coast and drop into the region through Monday.

Temperatures were still warm in some areas of the Central Coast, but increasing onshore flow allowed temperatures to slightly trend down compared to Friday. However, humidity levels are trending up as remnant moisture from Tropical Storm Alvin moves into the area from the southeast. That moisture is expected to work its way north through the rest of Saturday and overnight. At lower elevations south of Point Conception, there could also be some scattered showers.

Happy Sunday, Central Coast! Temperatures bumped a few degrees on Sunday due to a weak pop-up ridge of high pressure that replaced an upper-level trough of low pressure that moved in on Saturday. A deep marine layer remains in place with strong onshore flow that moved through the area Sunday afternoon. On Monday, a weak trough of low pressure will bring temperatures down a few degrees across the far interior, including Paso Robles and the interior mountains.
