A terracotta render covers the exterior surfaces of Zenith House, a Menorcan house designed by Spanish architecture office Nomo Studio to blend in with the island's arid landscape. Nomo Studio designed the single-storey holiday home on a plot surrounded by pines and vegetation in the northeast of the Baleriac island, which is located in the Mediterranean Sea. The six-bedroom house includes a large dining and living area, an indoor and outdoor kitchen and a generous covered terrace.

Australian practice Studio Bright has extended St Mary's Coptic Church in northwest Melbourne with a building wrapped in corrugated concrete and arches edged in gold. The two-storey extension introduces a chapel and community spaces to the existing red-brick building, built in Kensington in 1920 as an Anglican church.

London practice ROAR Architects and design studio Nina+Co have wrapped a 1970s house in Tottenham in cork, turning a "passive facade into a community touchpoint". Designed for Nina+Co's founder and her family, Nina's House is a "deep retrofit" of a 1970s clergy house originally built for the church next door.

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has started its search for the next operator of the city region’s tram system, with a £1.6bn contract on offer. The transport body is seeking a company to operate and maintain Metrolink, the UK’s largest light rail network which is used by 44M passengers a year. The tram is a key part of the Bee Network, Greater Manchester’s integrated public transport and active travel system, and has eight lines with 99 stops across Greater Manchester.
