A Northwest Academy gym teacher has been arrested on assault charges following reports that he inappropriately touched students on school premises, the Baltimore County Police Department announced. 28-year-old Jordan Adams was arrested on Wednesday by the Baltimore County Crimes Against Children Unit and has been charged with multiple counts of second-degree assault, officials reported. Adams is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Police are investigating multiple shootings that occurred in Baltimore on Tuesday evening, resulting in one death and two others injured. At approximately 9:16 p.m., officers in Southwest Baltimore responded to a local hospital for a walk-in shooting victim. Once there, police reported they spoke with two 22-year-old male victims who were both suffering from gunshot wounds. Both are listed to be in stable condition.
