A train travelling from Manchester to Cardiff has hit a tractor and trailer on a level crossing, police said. The Transport for Wales (TfW) train was not derailed but six passengers suffered minor injuries, according to British Transport Police. Officers were called to a level crossing north of Leominster, Herefordshire, at 10.40am on Thursday. "Inquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances leading up to the incident," BTP said.

Emily's unusual pre-race preparation involved partying until 3am, grabbing comfortably less than six hours kip, then lacing up her running shoes for the 9am race start on Sunday, April 6.

He's confirmed he "always wanted to go into media" as he revealed his podcast company's latest show that will be launching shortly. When it came to launching The Rest Is Football which fellow Match of the Day pundits and former players, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards, Lineker said it took a long time to make the show a reality - dating back to the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

David Walliams said Simon Cowell was not happy when the comedian won Best TV Judge at the National Television Awards. Walliams, 53, was speaking at Advertising Week Europe 2025 alongside long-standing comedy partner Matt Lucas. Speaking about winning the prize, which he has won four times, Walliams joked: "Simon Cowell never won. And that's all he does, judges. Judging is just a tiny part (of what I do). "He wasn't happy with you was he?" said host Melanie Rockcliffe. "No," Walliams said.
