A discount grocery store chain, which recently arrived in the Las Vegas Valley, has announced price cuts this summer to a quarter of its selection, saving customers over $100 million. Aldi is dropping prices of over 40o items by up to 33 percent percent at all of their over 2,400 stores, according to a press release from the company.

A popular online homeowners insurance provider is raising its rates in Nevada. Lemonade, which provides renters, homeowners, car and pet insurance, is raising homeowners insurance rates by 10.5 percent, affecting almost 30,000 Nevadans, on July 15. The company was approved for an increase on May 30 by the Nevada Division of Insurance. This is only the third time Lemonade has been approved for a rate change, with a 12.22 percent increase approved in 2020 and a 6.02 percent increase in 2023.

Bad news for owners of vehicles in these five colors. Five car colors in the Las Vegas Valley lose the most in value when it’s time to trade-in or sell, according to a study from iSeeCars. The study analyzed over 1.2 million model year 2022 used cars from August 2024 through May 2025 and how much their value depreciated over three-year timelines compared to the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
