    PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Nearly 5,000 doctors and nurses at several Providence hospitals and clinics hit the picket lines Friday in what could be the largest health care worker strike in Oregon history. The Oregon Nurses Association, which represents them, held a news conference Thursday afternoon. They said their members have done what they can to prevent a strike.
