Happy Rare Disease Day to the 300 million people living with conditions unknown to the majority. It’s been a year since I crafted a story for Racine County Eye readers about Rare Disease Day, a topic that is so close to my heart, and so rare to most others. Living with a rare disease makes it nearly impossible to round up what the past year has looked like when it comes to symptoms, treatments, and everything in between when it comes to the medical world.
