GALENA, Ohio (WCMH) — As Easter comes to an end, many across central Ohio and the country had a day full of family time, worship, and fun. For one central Ohio church, the holiday almost looked much different. A fire hit the Living Word Lutheran Church Galena just days ago and despite the challenges, the holiday went on as usual. When pulling into the parking lot, it’s hard not to notice the damage, which is now covered by a tarp.

DELAWARE, Ohio (WCMH) — Delaware County Emergency Management (DCEM) is using a board game to help ensure the area is prepared for cybersecurity-related issues and emergencies. “Here in Ohio, people are pretty familiar at this point with what tornados are and what floods are and what the impacts of all those can be, but cybersecurity-related hazards and cyber impacts tend to be a little bit harder for folks to visualize,” DCEM Director Alex McCarthy said.

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WCMH) — The Chillicothe community is preparing for changes that will take place when the Pixelle Specialty Solutions paper mill in town shuts down. The mill can be seen on the drive into town. It can also been seen from several neighborhoods around Chillicothe. Physically and economically, it plays a big role in the city. “It’s a huge staple in our city, it’s such an image to Chillicothe,” Pixelle employee Ethan Redman said.
