    Planet Fitness plans to operate a 22,450-square-foot gym inside that vacant space at the Shoppes at Inlet Center. Hours of operation will be 5:00 a.m. Monday morning until 9:00 p.m. Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, according to city planning documents.     Cool Wave Car Wash is planning to build a single-bay automated car wash on that property in Wesleyan Commons Shopping Center. The 2,200-square-foot facility will have two pay lanes and the car wash tunnel entrance will be oriented towards Wesleyan Drive, according to city planning documents. Eight vacuum stations will be available. Cool Wave Car Wash has five locations on the Peninsula and one in Smithfield. Another Virginia Beach location is planned for Indian River Road.

City planning documents call for a 3,564-square-foot building near the center of the 1.3-acre parcel. Customers will enter and exit at an existing access point on Indian River Road. Tidal Wave Auto Spa is shown on a conceptual site plan filed with the Planning Commission, according to city documents. Founded in 1999, the chain currently has more than 180 locations in 23 states, including nine stores across Virginia.
