Unified Sports is an inclusive program that pairs individuals with disabilities alongside individuals without disabilities as teammates. The pairings have the ability to create relationships that transcend the field. Bonds are built, friendships are formed and lives are changed. Hundreds of athletes representing 13 schools showed up to compete, laugh, eat, dance and have fun.

For the past 40 years, Roger Nichols called Bend home and raised his family here. Earlier this month, the beloved songwriter died at the age of 84. His family, friends and collaborators gathered Tuesday for a celebration of life to honor the remarkable and multitalented man.

The man responsible for starting the Bobcats program -- the man that many consider "The Godfather of Oregon Rugby" -- is Woody Bennett. The program has in many ways become a family affair for the Bennetts. With the love of the game being passed down from generation to generation. Bennett founded and launched the program in 2012, and right from the beginning, Bobcats Rugby was a family affair.
