This team has a lot of high energy and we expect to do lots of fun events in our banquet space," UPP Liquids owner Tonya Cornett said. The new team is made up of the former innovators who were laid off from 10 Barrel Brewing last September.

REDMOND, Ore. -- Fire crews spent all of Wednesday mopping up the smoldering aftermath left by the Euston Fire. Redmond Fire and Rescue Fire Marshal Tom Mooney said the fire scorched an estimated 35 acres. It also caused Level 2 "Be Set" evacuation notices in Redmond. "I smelt it first. We ran out from the shop to take a look because every thing's dry. That's when I hopped in my tractor and yelled at my wife to call 911 and get someone coming this way," neighbor Zach Hastings said.

SUNRIVER, Ore. -- A blank brick wall was turned into a canvas on the Three Rivers School playground on Tuesday as students gathered to paint a design that's been a month in the making. "I think it's really nice because it makes it more interesting and it's nice to see representation for the area,' eighth grader Delila Stevenot said. The students have been assisted by local artist Teafly Peterson.

BEND, Ore. -- A Canadian man has been arrested as a suspect in the 2023 homicide of a Bend woman, police said Thursday. He is now awaiting extradition to the U.S.Cole Nikolaus Sinclair, 25, is suspected in the death of Evelyn Jeanette Weaver, Bend Police Communications Manager Sheila Miller said. Weaver, 28, was found dead in her home in the 200 block of NW Hill Street on July 18, 2023. Sinclair was arrested on Dec. 14, 2024, and is being detained in Canada pending extradition proceedings.
