I attended classes for the next few years and participated in extracurricular activities, including the University Programming Board and the Education Club. In my junior year of college, I became Vice President of the Education Club. One of my roommates, an early childhood education major, served as president. She was president for only one semester because she started student teaching the next semester, so I took over as president for the rest of the year.
