EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is my favorite festival that happens at EPCOT. I know this event is extremely short, but it has a lot to offer. Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved EPCOT because there’s so much to learn and see. During the holidays, a whole layer of its culture is added to each pavilion. I find learning about different festive celebrations very interesting, but the best part is trying the different foods that accompany each holiday.

We spend a lot of time raving about the holiday decorations at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but it’s time we shine a light on the decor at Animal Kingdom. Everything here is very unique and is nothing like the other Walt Disney World theme parks. My favorite Christmas tree is the one at EPCOT, but the one at Animal Kingdom is a close second. I love the placement of all the ornaments and the theming that goes into it. It really captures the essence of the park.

The second night of Disney Jollywood Nights has come and gone, and many of the guests who attended the first night have hoped that Disney would work out all the kinks. We, along with many other guests, didn’t have the most magical night. Our group made a mistake, and Disney made a handful of errors, negatively impacting our night. Here, guests can experience a Thanksgiving-style meal any time of the year. At Liberty Tree Tavern, guests can enjoy a full feast for lunch or dinner: the all-you-care-to-enjoy Patriot’s Platter piled high with roasted turkey, pot roast, and oven-roasted pork accompanied by traditional sides.

My favorite time of the year is here, which means my absolute favorite free event has arrived at Walt Disney World. The Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs is such a fun time. You can either grab a map and complete the scavenger hunt or go around and admire them. Ever since this offering started, it’s been a birthday tradition of mine that we all come and see the trees. I just think they are so cool.

Craig, Ryno, and I went to the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and I wanted to highlight some of the best parts of our night. We honestly had such a fun night even though I felt like we were running a marathon, mainly me, because these boys walk so fast, and it’s hard for my tiny legs to keep up. I am glad that we got to see everything we wanted and did a few things that weren’t on our must-do list.

Christmas decorations have taken over Magic Kingdom, and it just makes sense that holiday merchandise has taken over the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. Let’s take a look at some of the items that have hit the shelves. This isn’t all the merchandise, but these are the pieces that stood out to me the most while I was window shopping. I have a rule that I live by every year: it’s not Christmas until Gertie gets her Santa hat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. On November 8th, I went to the park, hoping to see Santa Gertie and the rest of the park decorated. I can happily report that Gertie is wearing her Santa hat, which means it’s officially Christmas time. Not only did Gertie get her hat, but Echo Lake was covered in holiday decor, and so was Hollywood Boulevard.
