It’s the final game of the season for the San Jose Sharks and it’s against the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers are bound for the postseason, destined for a meeting with the Los Angeles Kings. The San Jose Sharks are stuck at 20 wins this season and while that’s an improvement over the 19 the team had last season, the Sharks have a long way to go to return to the playoffs. That was on display last night at the Scotiabank Saddledome, where the Calgary Flames showed the two team’s season records as one of the stats. Flames put up the team records for both teams. Calgary has 18 more wins than us and are still fighting for a shot at the playoffs. We got a long way to go.
