Two New Hampshire shops are committed to finding new homes for fashions from the past. Rebecca Earle, owner of Cotillion Bureau in downtown Portsmouth, fills her store with vintage fashion pieces that span decades. "My goal has always been to create the most fantastic closet I could think of," Earle said. The Cotillion Bureau is a blend of a vintage shop and a museum, featuring items like a bark cloth dress from the 1950s and metallic-infused dresses from the 1960s.

A budding designer from Exeter has gone viral on TikTok for what she calls her "thrift flips."Alexis Kesslen, a student at the School of Fashion Design in Boston, calls herself an upcycling fashion designer. Kesslen has a knack for transforming second-hand clothes. Her thrift flips on TikTok have gone viral. "I did have a couple of posts that got more than a million views, so that was really crazy," Kesslen said.
