CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The wet and stormy weather of the past week is behind us, but not for long. Get outside and enjoy the abundance of sunshine today, tomorrow and Mother’s Day. It’ll be cooler today behind our cold front with highs set to only reach the mid 60s, nearly 10° below normal for this time of year. Sunshine carries over into Saturday and Sunday with more seasonable low to mid 70s likely in the afternoons. No weather woes all weekend except getting caught not wearing sunscreen.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Plan for cloudy skies with little drizzle and temperatures lifting out of the lower 50s Sunday morning. Many communities across the tri-state, especially those east of I-75, have received a couple inches of rain since May started just a few days ago. While scattered rain chances exist until Tuesday, it will lighten up, and it only adds roughly another 0.5″ in spots. Temperatures drift from the upper 50s to the upper 40s Sunday, Monday, and into Tuesday.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Rain will be more on than off through the first half of the weekend, so if you’re having a Kentucky Derby party, make plans to move it indoors if you haven’t done so already. Temperatures will be mild in the lower 60s. Finally, some good news in the weather world as most of the rain will likely push out for at least a while Sunday morning. That will give runners a break to get the Flying Pig Marathon in with just mainly cloudy skies and comfy temps.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Grounds may still be wet for the Easter egg hunts, but fortunately the day will be dry! Easter Sunday will be mostly cloudy and warm with highs in the 70s. We can’t rule out an evening chance of showers Sunday, but better opportunities of rain will arrive after midnight ahead of a cold front that will slide through Monday morning. Improving weather conditions will be expected for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week with temperatures above normal.
