(WCIA) — One “nutty” animal was determined to stay put inside a homeowner’s garage before Chatham Police were finally able to get it back out into the wild. In a Facebook post on Friday, the Chatham Police Department put out a video in which they were dispatched to a residence on Church Street. The caller said there was an animal inside of his garage and that he needed the department’s help to get it out.

WATSEKA, Ill. (WCIA) — The Iroquois County EMA will be retesting all sirens across the county this upcoming Monday after the normal monthly test didn’t go as planned. Coordinator for the county EMA Scott Anderson said in a press release Friday that following the regular monthly test of the warning sirens throughout the county, it was discovered that all the sirens — except for those in Watseka — failed to sound.
