The stadium issue will be back in 2026. It’s wait until next year for the National Football League’s Chicago Bears franchise ownership in its quest for Illinois state funding for a stadium project. The legislature is done for 2025 and no state money is headed to the ownership. Bears’ ownership wants to build a stadium on a parcel of property it owns in Arlington Heights, Illinois in the stadium game apparently leaving Chicago behind.
