Visitors to a Scots canal are being urged to clean up after themselves after adorable ducklings were spotted swimming in water littered with plastic and shopping trolleys. The shocking images were taken on Monday, April 28 on the Forth and Clyde Canal near the Bandstand and Clyde Shopping Centre in Clydebank.

Police have launched an appeal after a car was deliberately driven at a teenage boy in a late-night incident in Angus. The incident occurred around 10.30pm on Monday, April 28, on Coupar Angus Road near the entrance to Camperdown Country Park, Birkhill. The car, described as a white Ford, was driven at a 16-year-old boy who was travelling on a moped near the entrance to the park. The boy was then followed by a second vehicle into the car park. The boy later attended hospital as a precaution.
