Footage shared on social media showed a strange mass of swirling dust, better known as a dust devil. A huge "tornado" has been spotted in the sky over a housing estate near Glasgow. Keen hiker Eddie Bonnie shared the unusual footage on TikTok of the mass of spiralling dust over the Aurs Meadows development in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire.

Three men, aged 24, 25 and 31, were arrested following the incident. Two police officers were rushed to hospital after a major disturbance at a tower block in Glasgow. Emergency services were called to Kirkton Avenue in the Knightswood area of the city close to midnight on Friday, May 23. The force has confirmed that three men, aged 24, 25 and 31, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident, reports Glasgow Live.
