TO THE EDITOR:FMS-like receptor tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) expression is almost exclusively found in the myeloid compartment [1]. The FLT3 protein consists of an extracellular region containing the ligand-binding site, a transmembrane domain, a cytoplasmic juxtamembrane domain, and a tyrosine kinase domain (TKD).

Abstract: Simple SummaryEarly-onset colorectal cancer is increasing in incidence in the United States, and it is expected to more than double in the next 10 years. There are many risk factors that lead to the development of early-onset colorectal cancer, including hereditary cancer syndromes, such as Lynch syndrome, obesity, diet, sedentary lifestyle, inflammatory bowel disease and altered microbiome.

1. IntroductionAdvanced biliary tract cancer (BTC) represents a relatively rare, heterogeneous group of cancers, consisting of cholangiocarcinoma (CCA), including intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) and extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (eCCA), and gallbladder carcinoma (GBC) (Figure 1). Globally, iCCA accounts for 10–20% of BTC, eCCA represents 20–30%, and GBC makes up the bulk of BTC at 50–60% [1,2].
