The air ambulance helicopter attended an incident on Roseberry Topping as 999 crews waited at the base. Pictures show Cleveland Police vehicles, ambulances and the Great North Air Ambulance craft at the landmark on Sunday evening. The photographs by Tees Durham Media show the helicopter near the peak of the Teesside landmark, while paramedics and police officers line up on a road below.

A19 southbound was left 'blocked' after a crash close to the Cleveland Tontine. The collision was first reported at 4.25pm on Wednesday, April 23, on the A19 near to the Stokesley turn-off. At 7pm, AA Traffic was still reporting the road as "blocked" due to the smash, with the A67 Crathorne Interchange, and the A684 closed to traffic. Motorists have been caught in lengthy delays as a result - with reports of delays of nine minutes and an average speed of 10mph.

A 'distressed woman' in Stockton has sparked police concern and an appeal to trace her. The woman was seen in a distressed state by a member of the public in Northcote Street, in Stockton - so much so, that he called police to report the sighting. Cleveland Police has now issued an appeal to trace her to confirm her safety. A force spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for a woman to come forward after a member of the public raised concern for her safety.
