A therapy horse that has helped more than 100 children with disabilities has been stolen from a Central Victoria stable. Police believe Rosie, a distinctive blue-eyed Gypsy Cob valued at $40,000, was stolen from Axedale Stables sometime between 8pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday. Owner Lara Bathurst has made an emotional plea for whoever stole Rosie to return her unharmed. "She engaged with children and adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, PTSD and other challenges," Ms Bathurst explained.

The Bendigo Art Gallery will exhibit a range of clothes and jewellery belonging to acclaimed late Mexican artist Frida Kahlo this month. Kahlo's personal belongings were kept locked in a room for 50 years in her home in Mexico. Bendigo Art Gallery curators are installing the pieces in the exhibition ahead of its opening next weekend.
