A woman says she warned Kmart about her allergic reaction to hyaluronic acid cleansing balm one month before a 13-year-old girl was hospitalised after using the product. Experts say better regulation of skincare products could help prevent injuries and reactions. Kmart says the balm is off the shelves as an investigation into its ingredients continues and that results are expected by the end of the week.

A therapy horse that has helped more than 100 children with disabilities has been stolen from a Central Victoria stable. Police believe Rosie, a distinctive blue-eyed Gypsy Cob valued at $40,000, was stolen from Axedale Stables sometime between 8pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday. Owner Lara Bathurst has made an emotional plea for whoever stole Rosie to return her unharmed. "She engaged with children and adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, PTSD and other challenges," Ms Bathurst explained.
