AUBURN, Mass. — A Massachusetts police officer is among 10 people who have been charged in connection with an online sex sting operation aimed at apprehending child predators, authorities said. Dominick Boschetto, 31, of Brookfield, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of sexual conduct for a fee and enticement for sex involving a child under the age of 16, according to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office. He was ordered held on $5,000 bail.

MEDFIELD, Mass. — Two people were hospitalized after a fire tore through a home in Medfield on Tuesday morning, officials said. Firefighters responding to a report of a blaze at a home on Oxbow Street found heavy flames in the garage, according to Acting Medfield Fire Chief Bill DeKing. The blaze spread up to the second floor, but crews on the first floor had to evacuate over fears of a structural collapse, DeKing said.

An investigation is underway after firefighters found human remains while battling a brush fire along the Massachusetts Turnpike last week, officials said. Firefighters from Wayland and Framingham stumbled upon the remains just before 9:45 p.m. on Thursday while responding to a report of brush fire just west of Exit 117 in Framingham, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

WALPOLE, Mass. — An investigation is underway after a crash in Walpole on Thursday morning left a motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries, authorities said. Emergency officials responding to a report of a multi-vehicle crash on Winter Street near Vintage Farm Road discovered a collision between an SUV and a motorcycle, according to the Walpole Police Department. The motorcyclist, whose name hasn’t been released, was rushed to a local hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
