The two credit unions both have strong ties in the health care industry. One of Greater Baltimore’s largest credit unions will merge with one of its smallest competitors. First Financial Federal Credit Union, the fifth largest credit union in the area with more than $1.25 billion in assets, will merge with St. Joseph Medical Center Federal Credit Union (SJMCFCU), which has around $14 million in assets. The merger is expected to close on April 16 and has already been approved by SJMFCU members.

Sinclair agreed to sell the stations to a former employee who worked for the media company's regional sports networks for years. Sinclair Inc. has agreed to sell five Midwestern television stations to a company owned by an executive at a Baltimore-area firm for $29.4 million. Rincon Broadcasting Group agreed to acquire the stations earlier this month from Hunt Valley-based Sinclair, according to documents filed with the Federal Communications Commission.

A local startup that wants to become the Airbnb for boat owners expects its revenue to almost double this year — and its founders think focusing more on their home state could play a big part in reaching that goal. Dockshare, a company that connects boaters with owners of private docks for rent, is looking to raise up to $1.25 million to continue its growth.
