CHARLOTTE, NC — A Texas man is coming forward with accusations claiming a man of god sexually abused him as a child. The abuse allegedly happened in New Orleans almost 30 years ago. However, the alleged victim says his abuser has been living in the Charlotte community for the past 20 years. Barry Davis says Joseph Hall took him under his wing around the age of ten. Both were members of the Uptown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in New Orleans.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A charlotte woman says she being extorted by the man who stole her dog and car. Two weekends ago, Jayla Gittens’ car was stolen from her north Charlotte apartment complex. Gittens’ dog, Julio, was in the car when the thief took off. This past Friday, her car was found, but the 6-year-old French Bulldog was not. CHARLOTTE, NC — A Charlotte woman’s search to find her dog is coming up cold. On Sunday, her car was stolen from her apartment’s parking lot. Her dog Julio was inside the car. “It’s been a nightmare,” said Jayla Gittens of having her dog stolen. Gittens was moving out of her north Charlotte apartment off Prosperity road near the 485 loop. She left her car running as she finished packing the final boxes, when she came out, the car was gone along with her 6-year-old French bulldog. “A terrible mistake.
