Jeff Jackson and Alan Wilson announced the effort on Monday, saying the platform WeChat is enabling money laundering operations linked to the deadly drug.     CHARLOTTE, N.C. – New video of a north Charlotte crash is giving us a clearer view of a van slamming into a house. We brought this to you as breaking news on Friday. The crash happened in the Nevin Glen neighborhood. That’s on Graypark Drive. Video shows the van speeding through the neighborhood, narrowly missing a child. The van then crashes into a home with so much force, the van continues traveling into the garage of a second home. First responders had to rescue someone from a second story window.

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An investigation is underway following another deadly shooting at a west Charlotte motel. It happened around six on Monday evening at the Loyalty Inn on Lucky Penny Street. CMPD says they found a man shot dead inside of a room at that motel. Police believe the man and the shooter knew each other.     Man accused of killing Waxhaw woman during weekend trip in Columbia, SC to face judge COLUMBIA, S.C. – The man accused of breaking into a home in Columbia, South Carolina and killing a woman inside will face a judge for a bond hearing Tuesday. Alexander Dickey is accused of shooting and killing 22-year-old Logan Federico of Waxhaw. She was in Columbia visiting friends. A GoFundMe has been set up to raise funds to pay for Logan’s funeral and help her family.
