    VIDEO: AN amateur film-maker from Burtonwood, Warrington, has produced an award-winning short film highlighting the importance of creative expression in mental health recovery. The Quiet Space, produced by Mental Health Support worker Justin Walker, is a unique project involving a collaboration between himself and two service users, individuals who are under a community mental health team. Miles plays the lead role but also contributed to the initial concept/idea for the film’s story.

    YOUR Housing has issued a statement following concerns over fire safety at Rynet Court after the devastating blaze which saw 50 people evacuated from their homes on Marsh House Lane, Warrington, on Monday. They have responded to criticism over the fact no fire extinguishers or sprinkler system was in the communal stairway where the blaze started and to claims that fire safety issues had been raised six years ago and not acted upon.

    OFFICERS have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to a suspicious incident involving two teenage girls walking near a church in Warrington. On Wednesday 30 April, two 14-year-old girls were walking along Canons Road, Great Sankey, Warrington, shortly before 3.15 pm. They spotted a man standing outside St James Church who they believed may have attempted to take photographs of them. They reported that the man then continued to follow them until reaching Sycamore Lane.
