Dec. 8—Shortly after suffering a painful penalty kick shootout loss to Amherst in the NCAA Division III men's soccer national championship on Saturday in Las Vegas, Connecticut College began to reflect on the program's tremendous accomplishments. The Camels reached the final for second time in three years, something that has never been done in any team sport at the school. They fell just short of winning a second title while playing the same team that they beat in 2021 in a penalty kick shootout.
