HORSE CAVE, Ky. (WBKO) - Kentucky State Police are charging a Horse Cave man with Criminal Abuse 1st Degree - Child 12 or under. The Hart County Attorney’s criminal complaint states that at 10:30 a.m. on June 13, 2024, 20-year-old Cody Jones intentionally abused a 14-month-old child on Main Street. Among the child’s injuries are tears in the back of the mouth, injury to the left lower lip, anal bruising, multiple bruises throughout the body, and a cast on the upper right arm.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Bowling Green Police arrested 23-year-old Robert Burr on June 12, accusing him of first degree rape. Police say on June 11, the victim fell asleep on Burr’s couch after swimming with friends. She told officers she woke up with Burr on top of her. She says he then carried her to his bedroom and forcibly raped her, despite her screaming “No!” louder and louder. The victim said after five to ten seconds she was able to push him off and run out of the room.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Leitchfield Police are asking the public’s help in locating three trucks they say three men used to steal three boats on Saturday night, May 4, 2024. Authorities say at approximately 11:30 p.m., three men entered the enclosed area at Renegade Marine. A few moments later, three trucks sped into the parking lot, and within minutes, the three trucks left with three boats in tow. The vehicles appear to be a GMC Yukon, a Chevrolet 2500, and a Ford F250.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Kentucky State Police are looking for suspects in an armed robbery on Jan. 28 around 6:30 p.m.On that day, four unknown Hispanic males entered the K&C Market at 6067 Louisville Road. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns, all wearing ski masks to conceal their faces. They got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
