AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Recycling has been a part of Augusta’s garbage service since the city took it over, and it’s tradition for some. “Well since I’ve been doing it so long and I really like recycling it would really, really be hard just stop recycling,” said Sam Jones. Yes, for the past several years, the Friday before Memorial Day has been deemed National Cooler Day. Coolers, we count them as friends.
