The wave of demonstrations also includes a days-long hunger strike amongst some students who, as of Tuesday, are on day seven of their hunger strike as they request university leaders to meet their list of demands.

Part of the call to action is in response to last week's pro-Palestinian demonstration on campus. "Right now, we are in a demonstration, and it's quiet, it's peaceful, we are calling for love, we are calling for peace, we are calling for support," said local Israeli-American Council member Ty Dadon.

    LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A growing memorial stands at the site where Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say an adult woman was found stabbed to death near a dumpster enclosure in the west part of the valley. Friday afternoon, 18-year-old Lincoln Boe appeared in front of the Clark County Regional Justice Court facing an open murder charge with the use of a deadly weapon. "Sir, I've found probable cause for your arrest," said Clark County Regional Justice Court Judge Daniel Westmeyer.
