The Pelham Democratic Committee announced candidates for all the positions on the November ballot in the Town of Pelham, the Village of Pelham Manor and the Village of Pelham, an expanded effort after the party failed to contest seats on the Pelham Manor village board in four of six elections since 2019 and only challenged for town council and town justice positions since winning those posts in the same year.

At a community planning workshop on Jan. 31, The Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers University-New Brunswick and the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) proposed three solutions to better the dangerous pedestrian conditions around Glover Field and Pelham Memorial High School. The solutions focused on three key danger points at the intersection and included the potential additions of new crosswalks, a raised median and intersection mural, or even a roundabout.
