WAMC, Northeast Public Radio

WAMC is a public radio network based in Albany, New York. It operates 12 broadcast radio stations and 16 relay stations that help transmit its programming. Among these is WAMC (AM) 1400, an AM station located in Albany. The official name of the organization is simply "WAMC," but it is also referred to as "WAMC Public Radio" or "WAMC/Northeast Public Radio Network." Additionally, WAMC manages The Linda/WAMC Performing Arts Studio, which serves as a venue for performances and is situated close to its Central Avenue studios. WAMC is a member of NPR and is affiliated with Public Radio International and American Public Media.
