Man accused in Taunton school construction site homicide held without bail TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A man accused of homicide in Taunton was held without bail after facing a judge Friday. 39-year-old David Jones was charged with murder. He was arrested earlier Friday morning. The body of 39-year-old Stephan Meyers was found in a construction area behind Bristol Plymouth High School on April 30.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Board of Licenses ordered all licenses for the Passion Lounge to be revoked during the regular meeting on Thursday. The club was originally closed after a shooting on the property on May 17. At a meeting on May 22 the board ordered the closure to be extended due to an “ongoing threat to public safety.”The discussion on the lounge’s future was then continued again after the May 29 meeting. Westerly Police attempting to corral cows WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Westerly Police Department said that residents should use caution in the north end of town due to roaming cows. The department said there were several reports of cows in the areas of Brandywine Drive, High Street, and the Nichols Lane. Officers were attempting to corral the animals.
