Family and friends continue to search for missing 17-year-old London Thomas Family and friends of missing 17-year-old London Thomas, as well as dozens of volunteers, searched Hines Park in Westland, Michigan, for several hours on Thursday. London, who Detroit police said was reported missing on April 8, was last seen on April 5 after being dropped off at an Inkster home in the 27000 block of Carlysle Street near Inkster Road.

Hours after Detroit police began investigating an auto theft at a BP gas station, the store closed after investigators learned that it was selling marijuana without a permit. On Thursday, police placed a sticker on the door of the gas station near 7 Mile Road and Grand River. Police say at about 1 a.m., someone allegedly stole a vehicle with a child inside. They say the child's mother went inside the gas station and left her car running when the suspect jumped in and took off.

Stellantis has announced a new round of buyouts and early retirement offers for some United Auto Workers employees. The buyouts will be offered from March 24 through May 8. Only non-skilled, union employees are eligible. Automotive experts believe the buyouts are a cost-cutting move by reducing the workforce. "I am not surprised. Stellantis has some tough decisions to make," said Jan Griffiths, Gravitas Detroit founder and automotive industry expert.

A probable cause hearing for the CEO of the Oxford Center in Troy, Michigan, and three other employees was moved to a later date after attorneys said that much evidence still needed to be reviewed. The four people, including CEO Tamela Peterson, were back in court Wednesday afternoon. Their defense attorneys requested another probable cause hearing to further review the evidence.
