City officials say the machines themselves are legitimate when it comes to exchanging cash for shares of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but the machines are often used by scammers. The scams often include a phone call, email or text message that is sent to an individual, claiming that they owe money, and they must pay it now.

    MINNEAPOLIS — Hospitals across the country are working to figure out how to address a shortage of nurses. This shortage was intensified during the pandemic when countless nurses left the profession due to the stresses of the job. The latest job forecasts suggest the gap could grow wider if healthcare systems don’t make changes to address the shortage. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the nursing profession will see a 6% increase in job growth from 2023 to 2033.
