    Cadent Gas had been due to finish gas pipe replacement works in Wimpole Road on May 16 but the date has now been extended to June 6. The road has been closed since April 16 and has caused heavy traffic issues in the area. This is due to workers finding out the gas pipes were in a much worse condition than originally thought.

Each party hoped to build one bungalow for themselves and their partner and one bungalow for their parent in a cul-de-sac arrangement. The dwellings will be self-built. During the consultation process the plans received six objections and one neutral comment.
