The store would open at 2550 Route 100, Luke Jaindl of the Jaindl Land Co. said, near the St. Luke’s Health Center in the same block. It would measure at 23,300 square feet and host 211 parking spaces, according to sketch plan documents provided by Lower Macungie Township.

A new restaurant will offer pizza and Mexican food favorites when it opens later this year in the Lehigh Valley. The restaurant, Mariachi Mexican Grill & Jay’s Pizza, will open toward the end of July at 8016 Route 873 in Washington Township, Benjamin Diaz of the James Balliet Property Group said, replacing the former Lighthouse Grille.

The pending closure of the Downtown Allentown Market will not derail ongoing revitalization efforts in the downtown area. As business owner Manny Rodriguez put it, revitalization is not a switch to flip, but a vision. “So we’ve got to stick with it,” he said. Rodriguez joined state Sen. The glow-in-the-dark entertainment facility Monster Mini Golf has finally conjured itself an opening date for this weekend in South Whitehall Township. The 15,000-square-foot facility will open 11 a.m. on April 12 at the Dorneyville Shopping Center at 3227 Hamilton Blvd., it announced Monday. The first 100 guests will receive a free game of a miniature golf and a $5 arcade game card.
