    Oregon lawmakers have passed a bill directing energy regulators to create a separate rate class for data centers, cryptocurrency miners and similar energy-intensive industries. House Bill 3546, also known as the Protecting Oregonians With Energy Responsibility (POWER) Act, will now head to Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek’s desk for adoption following the final approval by the state House of Representatives on June 5.
