MILWAUKEE — — Giannis Antetokounmpo had 28 points and 11 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks extended their winning streak to six games with a 136-111 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday night. Kevin Porter Jr. had 20 points and seven assists, Kyle Kuzma and Gary Trent Jr. each scored 17 points, Bobby Portis added 14 and Ryan Rollins finished with 12 for the Bucks. Milwaukee moves on to an important two-game, regular-season ending series against the Detroit Pistons on Friday and Sunday.

The Bucks won their fifth straight and snapped Minnesota’s five-game winning streak. After trailing 95-71 with less than 10 minutes left, Milwaukee scored 23 straight points and eventually tied it 97-all on AJ Green’s 3-pointer with 3:36 left. On the Timberwolves’ next possession, Milwaukee’s Kevin Porter Jr. and Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert got in a skirmish that resulted in technical fouls for both players.

Abigail Henriksen, a 15-year-old from DeForest, Wisconsin is one of eight junior golfers (four boys and four girls) crowned champions at the 11th annual Drive, Chip and Putt National finals held Sunday at Augusta National in conjunction with the 2025 Master’s Tournament. Henricksen calmly sunk a 15-foot putt to win the girls 14-15 year old division. “I was definitely shaking a little bit over that second putt,” Henriksen said in a media interview following the competition.

The Green Bay Packers and veteran kicker Brandon McManus are in agreement on a three-year contract worth $15.3 million dollars according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. McManus signed with the Packers in October of 2024 and made 20-of-21 field goals and all 30 of his extra points over the course of 11 games. In his season-ending press conference in January, Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst expressed a strong desire to bring McManus back.
