AUBURN, Ala. – Lately, Jaylin Williams has found himself in his apartment watching highlights of his old games on YouTube. Some of the games are from this year while other are from his early years, including one that stood out – an overtime loss to UConn in 2021. “That game was insane." It’s his way of reminiscing on what has been a historic career as he prepares to play his final game in Neville Arena on Saturday. Last Saturday, Williams made history yet again.

In June 2020, a little more than three years after his initial diagnosis, Cunningham went through what he thought would be his last day of cancer treatment only to find out 17 months later that the cancer had returned. He had not reached remission. The battle continued. But Cunningham would not let it beat him. He stayed positive. “When I was in the hospital, I noticed the people that had a bad attitude about it really didn’t do well through the cancer treatment,” he said.

AUBURN, Ala. – Before Wednesday, the last time Auburn lost was early December at Appalachian State, and the Tigers responded by beating Indiana 104-76 the next time out and winning 11 straight games, including the first five SEC contests. AUBURN, Ala. – It was the opening drive of the game. Not even a minute had run off the clock. Facing third-and-1 from its own 34-yard line, quarterback Jarrett Stidham took the snap, faked like he was going to run and then threw it to a wide open JaTarvious “Boobee” Whitlow down the left sideline. Whitlow made one cut inside, and he was gone. Sixty-six yards to the house on the game's third play. “It was third-and-1, and I remember practicing that play,” Stidham recalled.

AUBURN, Ala. – For only the second time ever, Auburn and Indiana will square off on the hardwood Saturday in Atlanta as part of this year's Holiday Hoopsgiving event. The Tigers are 2-1 in the event all-time, beating Nebraska in 2021 and splitting with Memphis in 2020 (W) and 2022 (L), but this year they get the opportunity to face one of the more historic programs in college basketball in Indiana. "Indiana is a blue blood," Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said.
