PULLMAN — Guard Cedric Coward, who is looking to move on from Washington State after one injury-shortened season for the men’s team, might not be playing too far away next season. Coward is considering rival Washington, according to a report from On 3 Sports, which indicates Coward’s other finalists include Duke, Alabama, Kansas and Florida, which won the national championship last weekend.

PULLMAN — Seven more Washington State players have entered the transfer portal. Running back Josh Joyner and offensive lineman Carson Osmus made their decisions on Tuesday, while linebacker Dajon Doss, offensive lineman Zack Miller, kicker Connor Calvert and receiver Dycurian Douglas made theirs on Wednesday, according to personal announcements by Calvert, Joyner, Douglas, Miller and Doss and a report on Osmus.

The 6-foot-4 guard was looking to move on after two years at Morehead State, where he averaged a shade over 10 points per game last season, and he didn’t feel like he had found his next landing spot. He held offers from a few schools, including Western Kentucky, Indiana State and Marshall, all relatively close to his home in Kentucky.
