Introduction Guava, a tropical fruit rich in dietary fibre and antioxidants, is widely cultivated in tropical regions, where it covers approximately 40 000 ha in China (Ling and Chang, 2017; Singh et al., 2017). Guangdong province is one of the largest producers of this fruit with 16 000 ha. The fruits are important for both natural consumption and fruit processing.

The present retrospective study was conducted using patient data from Aortic valve diseases RISk facTOr assessmenT andprognosis modeL construction (ARISTOTLE). The ARISTOTLE study was a real-world study of hospitalized patients with aortic valve diseases at the multicenter in South China, intending to measure aortic valve disease and analyze the risk factors affecting its prognosis and was registered in the Chinese Clinical Trials Registry (registration number: NCT06069232).

The Salmonella strains utilised in this study included wild-type S. Typhimurium WT269, which was isolated from the joint fluid of patients at a hospital in Shanghai. HeLa cells were employed to evaluate the strains’ adhesion and invasive capabilities. Competent E. coli DH5α (Takara, China) was used for cloning experiments. All primers and plasmids used in this study are listed in Additional files 1, 2, and 3.

AbstractCoronary endarterectomy combined with coronary artery bypass grafting (CE-CABG) effectively achieves coronary revascularization in patients with diffuse atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (CAD). However, the loss of the subendothelial tissue at the CE-CABG coronary artery accelerates local thrombosis, leading to CE-CABG graft failure. Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAT) and warfarin plus aspirin (WPA) are the two most common anticoagulation strategies post CE-CABG.
