Years later, he and several student actors are bringing that story to the stage for Columbus East High School’s spring production. The show will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at Columbus East High School Robbins Auditorium. Tickets are $8.

The Neil Diamond Experience.” The show, entering its fourth year of touring, promises to be the ultimate tribute to Diamond’s career. So Good! The first Latin American pope, Pope Francis died at the age 88 early Monday morning, leading to an outpouring of support and prayers from both world leaders and local leaders. Since his introduction as the 266th pope in March of 2013, Pope Francis had led a very humble papacy. He had supported and welcomed the LGBTQ+ community into the church, wanted to have the church serve as a refuge for everyone and called for the end of climate change.

St. Bartholomew Catholic Church will celebrate the great composer Ludwig van Beethoven’s 255th anniversary in the latest installment of its concert series, to be held on April 26 in the church’s sanctuary. “Beethoven: A Celebration Concert” will feature two of Beethoven’s works, “Mass in C” and “Hallelujah” from “Christ on the Mount of Olives,” sung by members of the community and the St. Bartholomew Church Choir, Director of Music Ministry Dr. Bogdan Minut said.

And when attending a service, she was suddenly struck with inspiration. “So, I was sitting there in church and I just sat there and a picture was put up on the screen during the service, and I looked up there and it was just like God smacked me upside the head and said, ‘that needs to go over there,’” Potts said.
