Most of the work will take place at Rolls-Royce in BristolRolls-Royce has secured a £563m contract with the Ministry of Defence to maintain and service engines for Royal Air Force Typhoon fighter jets. Much of the work on the Typhoon aircraft engines will take place at the engineering giant's defence headquarters in Bristol. The agreement will see Rolls-Royce providing maintenance and repair support to 130 EJ200 engines, supporting around 200 direct jobs in the process.

Steak of the Art, on Canons Way, was established by restaurateur Steve Bowen in 2012 as a dining and art gallery concept, and once had venues in Southampton, Cardiff and Bristol.

The annual event recognises innovators and role models working in Britain's technology industry. Yomi Tejumola, founder and chief executive of AI marketing firm Algomarketing, started his company in 2017 while working as a marketing data scientist at Google.

A steak restaurant with sites in Bristol and Cardiff has collapsed into administration. Steak of the Art is a steakhouse and art gallery concept, serving steak sourced from West Country farmers, seafood from Cornwall and other meat dishes such as lamb and game. The restaurant has two UK venues and is run by a company called Groupco Ltd under the directorship of Stephen Bowen, a former management consultant who established the business more than a decade ago.

Bristol inventors are behind plans to collect urine from thousands of women running the London Marathon and turn it into crop-growing fertiliser. Start-up entrepreneurs Amber Probyn and Hazel McShane developed Peequal - a women's urinal - while studying at Bristol University. The pair say their invention is nearly three times faster than using a portable toilet and has previously been used at the sporting event to reduce queues.
